The 6th Grade Award Trip is offered to any junior youth who has completed at least three years of classwork and attended at least one junior camp by the time they have entered the sixth grade. The one-day event takes these youth to a waterslide theme park.
Third Year Award Tour The Third Year Award Tour combines both fun and education on a bus trip to Minneapolis, MN, where the youth tour regional cooperative facilities. While in the Twin Cities, the youth will visit Valley Fair, shop at the Mall of America and tour other points of interest. Senior youth who have completed three years of senior classwork and have attended at least one senior camp are eligible to participate in this trip.
All-States Camp All-States Camp gathers the dedicated “cream of the crop” Farmers Union youth from across the nation for leadership, individual growth and development at the National Farmers Union Camp located in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Colorado. It is the destination for more than 50 senior youth from North Dakota each summer. These youth have completed four years of senior class work and attended at least two senior camps prior to the year of the trip.
Torchbearers Award The highest award given to youth who participate in Farmers Union youth program, is presented to those who have completed five years of senior youth work. The Torchbearer ceremony is part of the North Dakota Farmers Union state convention each year.
Flicker Award The Flicker Award is given to the youth in the form of a T-shirt and is awarded to a junior youth who has completed at least five years of junior class work by the time they have finished sixth grade.
