North Dakota Farmers Union strives to provide quality education for its members, young and old.
Vision Statement:
“To develop visionary rural leaders through interactive programs that facilitate commitment, teamwork, creativity, leadership and citizenship, through cooperation, legislation and education.”
Focus on Educating Youth:
• Organized effort through the NDFU state office and more than 100 volunteers statewide.
• Creating new generations of leaders since the early 1930s
• Promoting leadership, responsibility and self- confidence
• Largest camping program in North Dakota
Each summer, more than 1,500 youth participate in summer camps, day classes and award trips. The youth program has been promoting the organization’s principles of cooperation, legislation and education.
