Focus on Youth North Dakota Farmers Union is a producer-controlled grassroots organization governed by its members. Guided by cooperative, legislative and educational ideals, it is dedicated to advancing family farm agriculture and quality of life for its members.
Through an organized effort of the Farmers Union state office and more than 100 volunteers, NDFU runs the state’s largest camping program.
Each summer, more than 1,500 youth participate in summer camps and award trips. The youth program has been in operation since the early 1930s. For more than 70 years, the youth program has been promoting the organization’s principles of cooperation, legislation and education.
