Co-op House Scholarship

Co-op House Scholarships are awarded to students planning to enroll as freshmen at North Dakota State University. Field of study is not a factor in eligibility.

NDFU Scholarship

Each year $500 scholarships are awarded to first-year or undergraduate students enrolled in a secondary educational facility. Applicants must be pursuing a career important to rural America, but not limited to agribusiness, farm operation or production agriculture.

  • High school seniors and college undergraduates are eligible to apply
  • Farmers Union membership required ($30 annual family membership)
  • Must have at least 2.50 grade point average during the last three years of schooling

Completed application, financial information, letters of recommendation and grade transcript must be returned to North Dakota Farmers Union on or before January 31

NDFU Scholarship Recommendation

Bergman Scholarship

Bergman scholarships are awarded to eligible Farmers Union Torchbearers each year. Applications are sent to all eligible and qualifying Torchbearers for that particular year.

  • Must be receiving the Torchbearer award at the upcoming Farmers Union State Convention
  • Must have at least 2.50 grade point average
  • Completed application and personal recommendations must be returned by application deadline indicated on the application

Stanley Moore National Scholarship

Each year, several $1,000 Stanley Moore National Scholarships are awarded to Farmers Union members enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university.
Applications are available in the spring.
Recipient will be selected and announced by July 31, 2017,

Hubert K. and JoAnn Seymour Scholarship

Each year, one or two Hubert K. and JoAnn Seymour Scholarships will be awarded ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 total.

Scholarship applications are available in the spring.

Stanley Moore FUI Foundation Regional Scholarship

Each year, several $1,500 Stanley Moore FUI Foundational Regrional Scholarships are awarded to Farmers Union members in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Money is to be used for tuition and books.

Applications must be postmarked no later than April 22, 2017
Recipients will be selected by Aug. 3, 2017

CHS Foundation Scholarships

The CHS Foundation offers a University Scholarship Program for universities offering agricultural-related majors. The CHS Foundation grants up to $1,000 to innovative academic and leadership programs that strengthen student learning and enhance professional development. Examples include: leadership training opportunities, mentorship programs, professional development experiences and student fundraising efforts.

CHS High School Scholarship Program
Graduating high school seniors pursuing an agricultural-related major at any two- or four-year college throughout the nation are encouraged to apply for one of fifty $1,000 scholarships. READ MORE

CHS and the CHS Foundation fund nearly 300 scholarships to students enrolled in an agricultural-related program at partnering two- and four-year colleges and universities throughout the United States. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $2,000.
